    Victims of Alleged Sedition (VAS)

by the Department of Evidence For Evicting Rouge Elements Not Submitting. (DEFERENS)

    Inter-departmental memo;

    RE: Balls

The Victims of Alleged Sedition, Support Group, are planning a Charity Fundraiser to raise money for those who were unfairly, financially destroyed by our department. Now while we are officially denying any wrong doing in these maters, and in many instances the so called victims are unaware of our involvement in their present hardships, it is not wise to attend any balls they may arrange because these 'lefties' can get quite 'testy'.

Our stance on the issue is; just because we didn't manage to get any real evidence on them to get a conviction, doesn't mean they weren't guilty. So while some of you may be feeling sorry for the tragic effect we had on their lives, don't forget which side of the fence you stand on because even though current trends are favouring their views, it doesn't mean that some time in the future we will be empowered to do it all again and you wouldn't  want to find yourself in their position.

In times like this we should remind ourselves of the time honoured saying 'charity begins at home' and  rather that give some of your hard earned  booty back to the ones you screwed it out of, think of your loved ones. We have hard times before us, budgets will be cut, jobs will be sacrificed and in a few instances jail time to be served, so why feel sorry for those who are looking forward to better times?

Your time and money would be better spent propping up your local church because if things go really bad you can always go to them and claim sanctuary. After all they worked with us when we had the upper hand and you can point that out to them if they refuse to help you.

Therefore, if you are approached by the Victims of Alleged Sedition (VAS) and they want to hold you or the department (DEFERENS) responsible for compensation or they are asking awkward questions on how they could refinance themselves,  you are authorized to give the official response, BALLS.

Evidence (Audio and Audio Visual Links) Amendment Bill - 18/11/2003 - 2R - NSW Parliament

Ms LEE RHIANNON [8.28 p.m.]: The Greens do not support the Evidence (Audio and Audio Visual Links) Amendment Bill. We recently supported a bill that regulated how child detainees can give evidence via audio and audiovisual links but this bill goes a step too far in dictating evidence procedures to the courts. The Evidence (Audio and Audio Visual Links) Act 1998 has already trampled on the common law and the traditional practices of the court. The common law says that accused people have a right to appear in court to face charges against them, but that was changed by the 1998 Act. Because of that Act, there is now no automatic right to appear in court in preliminary proceedings. In fact, in those cases there is a presumption in favour of using an audiovisual link.
With substantial criminal matters the presumption is still in favour of physical appearance, that is, accused people have the right to appear in court. But the bill makes further changes. The new rules would allow the court to use audiovisual links for an accused person if that person's physical attendance might threaten the security of the courtroom. This provision might sound reasonable to many members, but it is unnecessary. The courts are capable of making a decision whether an accused would threaten security, and there is no need for a law to spell that out. The courts are capable of assessing security threats and taking steps to deal with them, including the use of audiovisual links, and they have the authority and power to do so.
The bill is not just unnecessary it also creates new problems. Under proposed subsection 5BB (5) (d), one of the factors that might cause the judge to order the use of an audiovisual link is the accused's behaviour in custody. But the accused's behaviour in custody may be no guide to how they will behave in court. And it is not clear who will decide whether that behaviour might recur in court, or might threaten the court. Who will give a judge or a court the evidence about the accused's behaviour in detention and what it means for the courtroom's security? Will it be the Department of Corrective Services? If so, what will the procedures be for this? The Greens are concerned that the bill gives to the Department of Corrective Services considerable power over the rights of accused people to appear in court.
The Hon. John Hatzistergos: It is a great thing.
Ms LEE RHIANNON: The interjection of the Minister shows that he is one more Minister for Corrective Services who has gone the Woodham way. We urge the Government to remove this provision from the bill. The courts are the best arbiter of when and how audiovisual links should be used, and the matter should remain in their hands. It should not be in legislation, in regulations that we have not seen yet, or in the hands of the Department of Corrective Services.

Evidence (Audio and Audio Visual Links) Amendment Bill - 18/11/2003 - 2R - NSW Parliament

The Judicial Audio Visual  Amendments (JAVA) Bill is where the chisel of George Bush's intrusive, controversial and potentially illegal Patriots act, meets the coalface of the average Australian's rights. As we are all aware, the November Elections in America will decide between, the more of the same policies of John McCain and the time for change approach of Barrack Obama. If the later manages to pull off the coupe of the century, then the Republican's won't be able to continue stacking the Supreme Court Judiciary and we are likely to see a repeal of the Acts that were ratified under the Bush Regime's. This could lead to Criminal Charges being laid against High Officials in the habit of ignoring peoples Human Rights in their pursuit of "Terrorists" and in Australia we could see a similar flow on effect.

Now it may seem strange to those of us who like to give people the benefit of the doubt but if for whatever reason you found yourself being survailed through the medium we have all come to know and love over the Bush and Howodd years, then wouldn't it be ironic if the tables were turned and the one's that have been ignoring other people's rights suddenly became subject to the same Amendment Bill they used against anyone they deemed to be 'unpatriotic'.

The term 'un-Australian is a subjective one, subject to the currant will of the people; if paranoid behaviour suddenly becomes un -Australian then under the current laws, as they stand now, anyone displaying those tenancies could be removed from the flock, placed under surveillance and tried in Kangaroo Courts without them ever knowing they were under suspicion. If I had of been a rampant Bushite, operating at a Govern-mental level over the last ten years then I would be trying my damndest to have the Judicial Audio Visual Amendment (JAVA) Bill, amended as the Greens have suggested or book my ticket to somewhere else in the world where my unusual skills might be more appreciated.

    FUNDAMENTALY FLOORED!

In Dan Brown's best seller 'The Da Vinci Code', the reclusive author makes a meal out of the 'fact' that Mary Magdalene was the wife of Jesus. My interest in this subject doesn't focus on wether Dan is a great writer or wether Jesus and Mary were married, that is speculative, but in why it upsets the fundamentalists so much. If they say they love the man they call their Lord, why wouldn't it fill their hearts with joy to indulge the concept that it might be true? If one of your dear friends died childless and someone came along with 'proof' of a possible, previously unknown, love affair, marriage or offspring, what sort of friend would you be if you were appalled by that chapter of his life and refused to entertain the idea? So with that in mind, I ask your indulgence to look at what we know and what we should think about, if we are to have a valid opinion on a subject that seems to occupy the thoughts of billions of peoples.

The fundamentalist say the New Testament is the infallible word of God, they quote it regularly and are prepared to ram it down the throats of any unsuspecting heathen they come across. So, no matter what you think of it personally, let's scrutinize it for any references on what it has to say in regards to whether or not we have been sold a pile of horse poo or not. The first thing that occurs to me is that Jesus, as an eligible aged man, doesn't seem to have a problem associating with women, he even seems to to relate to them as human beings worthy of respect and consideration. He doesn't rebuke them for touching the hem of his garment nor condemn them for, so called, illicit behaviour, his travelling companions seemed to have wives and the Rabbis of the day, of which he was one, were expected to be married family men.

When he agrees to attend the wedding at Canna, the place where is said to have turned water into wine, he seems to hold the honoured position of the man in charge of the wine. This is a responsibility usually reserved for the groom and it was then he began to refer to Himself as the Bridegroom. After that he holidays with Mary at the home of a friend on the Sea of Galilee and rebukes the host for not wanting her in their party. She wipes his feet with her hair, anoints his head with oil, runs out to greet him when they were both staying at Martha's place and is predominant at the crucifixion, possibly with child. These are all activities one would normally attribute to a wife so with absolutely no references in the New Testament to indicate he wasn't married, what possible reason could the fundamentalists have for not wanting us to believe he was?

Could it possibly be that they have an ulterior motive? Would they actually choose lies over truth to promote some secret agenda or is it that they are so deluded by their prejudices against women, that with no evidence what so ever, they could pass judgement on a widow and orphan's claims for legitimacy. Sadly, I must say, after looking at all the evidence and considering their historical record of bad behaviour, that the fundamentalists really don't have a case when it comes to challenging Dan Brown.

    JESUS, A NO NONSENSE GUY.

Now I am not trying to evangelise anybody to any particular brand of fundamentalism nor convince anyone about the historical existence of the man whose name has be bandied about more than all others put together, but I would like to analyse what we have been told and what we have been kept in the dark about.

Firstly let's look at the contextual history of the period he is said to have been born in. The Greeks had set the stage with Alexander’s great rampage through long standing Eastern cultures, murdering, raping and generally pillaging their way through ancient cities, rearranging their lives, languages and capital naming programs. They then went on to acquire the rights to claim they created the architecture, political ideas and philosophies of the then known world.

The big one, that went on to affect our story, was the translation of the Hebrew Sacred Texts into the Septuagint, a Greek language version of the Old Testament. This work was mainly done by Maccabean Hebrew scholars working in Egypt’s Alexandria library system under the eyes of the ruling class Ptolemy’s. No other single act could possibly have done more to set the stage for the resurgence of the concept that a messiah was to be born at Bethlehem and be crucified for the salvation of the believers of that ideal.

Needless to say, many Greek speaking peoples converted to Judaism in the hope that they would be partakers of the promised New Zion. So by the time Julius Caesar had almost finished his rampage around the Mediterranean and was favouring joining with the Ptolemy’s to rule the world, Jerusalem became the focus of attention. Up until then the rundown backwater mountain rebel base had been overlooked. With Cleopatra’s connections into the Parthian controlled Aramaic speaking Palestine, the then modern cities of Caesarea and Jerusalem sprung into existence and with her new general Mark Antony by her side and Herod’s Sadducees living well under their protection, they began their campaign for world domination. But as history records, the plan began to unravel with their defeat at Actium.

The Octavian led Romans then moved in to occupy Jerusalem and to settle down what was left of the defeated remains of J.C’s, Cleo’s, Mark Antony’s and Herod the now Great’s shattered followers. Amazingly enough they all claimed to be Jewish. (oh, how history repeats itself). Soon Mary was pregnant and couldn’t name the father and Cleopatra’s mystery cult of Virgin’s didn’t have a benefactor. So our famous donkey led trio, high tail it out of the area and lay low in Egypt while our hero grows into the well educated candidate for King of the Jews.

While Jesus was studying all the teachings of the Mystery Cults as well as the Talmud and the Septuagint: Octavian, now Caesar Augustus, and Herod the Great die. This opened the flood gate for all the illegitimate children of the ex-rules to begin arguing over who was going to be the next Great leader. Herod Archelaus was the first to be installed but didn’t last long and young Tiberius inherited Rome, so by the time Jesus began his run for the job Archelaus was dead and Tiberius, in exile. Herod Antipas and his mate Caligula were running the show and what a mess they were making of it. Saul, the leader of the Sadducees (later Paul author of the New Testament), had thrown his hat into the ring with a direct challenge to Jesus and his Esseanes faction.

This all tells a vastly different story to the one we have been fed down the years and it’s enough for me to ignore the politics of it all and look directly at the teachings of Jesus as an enlightened man of his time. We have in the Q documents an independent, reliable source of what those teachings were because they are backed up with actual fragments of notes that were taken while he was speaking to the masses on the Mount and in the Plains. So independently of Churches, factions and “learned scholars” we can assess him and what he taught for ourselves. If you don’t have a copy of these, any accepted translation of the sermon on the mount is a good guide.(Mathew: 5-8)

Up front I think it is safe to say he was anti-Fascist, anti-establishment, peace loving advocate for the poor and the down and out. His solid body of work indicates he was an intelligent, articulate, moral campaigner for the rights of women and children to live in a world that isn’t dominated by Fundamentalists who would hold the letter of the law over their heads like a sword to slay anyone who disagrees with their interpretation. His no nonsense style convinces me he was a man who was prepared to put his money where his mouth was and that he didn’t suffer hypocrites. I gather his style of government would have been an Ecumenical one incorporating all factions concerned and would include women and gays. He was a man of the people, ready to stick it to the powers that be, in an attempt to attain rights for the underprivileged and marginalized in the mix.

Unfortunately, He was betrayed by all those who went on to become players in the debacle that followed his crucifixion and would have no more agreed to what was done in his name than He would have condoned or endorsed the church authorities of His day. In an attempt to not turn this into a sermon or a long boring story, the point of it is to encourage those who would like to study the mans work without the associated stigma of being a religious nutcase and to call those who have misinterpreted the mans work, into a formula for oppressing those who don’t buy it, to rethink what it is they are preaching.

So rather than dismiss Jesus as a future irrelevance or go on to continue using His name in vain, please consider this a plea for common sense and think well of the man who put his life on the line, when he could of just cashed in like the rest. Don’t ride off His teachings anymore than you would Buddha's or Gandhi’s or John Lennon’s and when you are really peeved at the way Christian’s go about their business don’t blame Him , just think of Jesus, a no nonsense guy.

Excerpts from 'Breastplate of Narmer' CHAPTER FIVE.

A half an hour later, as they were entering the outskirts of London the car phone rang.

“Hello, Laurence here I was just ringing to se how you were getting on and if I could be of any assistance, I could pull some strings and get you an appointment if you like.”

“Not necessary.” Stated Gabriel “I have made all the arrangements I need, thanks to your wonderfully equipped mobile office and James has been most useful, he seems to know his way around.”

“Good, excellent enjoy the rest of your trip then.”

“I intend to, thanks for your concern, bye.” He said as he hung up the phone and leaned back into the plush leather surrounds of the Bentley and for the first time allowed himself the luxury of entering London first class knowing that everything that could be done had. In what seemed no time at all, James pulled into an underground car park, parked besides the lift and got out to open the door for Buzz. “Would you like me to come up with you?” he said

“No thanks,” said Buzz “you can keep the engine running, just in case we have to make a quick get-a-way.”

As the lift doors opened and Gabriel was entering, James let go with one more short quip, “Don’t press any buttons while you’re in there.”

“I’ll try not to.” Muttered Buzz

Soon as the doors closed, he was expressed to the top floor and then some. They opened to, what could only be described as, an elite gentleman’s club style penthouse suite. An elegant man was making his way towards him with an outstretched hand,

“Pleased to meet you would you like a scotch while we talk?” he gestured as he opened the way to seating and a table with an open bottle of Chivers Regal centered between two glasses.

“Don’t mind if I do.” Replied Gabriel

After seating themselves and pouring drinks, the elegant man leaned back, crossed his legs and said “so I understand you have something of value you would like to dispose of and would like me to make the arrangements for you.”

    “Yes.”

“Could you give me a description of the goods and a price we could work from?” He asked

“It’s a two piece, front and back, solid gold breastplate; hand embossed with hieroglyphics identical to the ‘Palette of Narmer’. It’s been dated to the ‘Old Kingdom’ of Egypt, pre two thousand B.C.E, it’s in perfect condition and we want six million Euros for it, no offers.”

That seemed to stun the man; he’d thrown his head back and was staring at the roof for some time, which suited Buzz as it gave him time to work on the large scotch he had been given. After awhile he came around and asked

“How would we go about the exchange?”

Gabriel reached forward and handed him a slip of paper and said

“This is the password to gain access to a bonded storehouse in Zürich. One man will be given one visit inside a vault where he can view the item, if all is satisfactory and a transfer of funds completed on a system set up within the vault then he will be allowed to leave with the item.”

    “And my fee?”

“You’ll have to sort that out with the custom.”

He finished off his drink, stood up and strode into the still open lift. Soon he was back in the limo and exiting the building.

    “All went smoothly?” Enquired James

    “As silk.” Replied Buzz

    “So, where to now?”

    “Home James,”

“I know and don’t spare the horses.”

“On the contrary, let’s take the scenic route.”

Meanwhile back at the castle, Natalie had enjoyed lunch with Laurie and Dora having managed to keep the conversation to a general family friendly banter. Dora had suggested wandering and freely around the castle connecting with the various items adorning the walls and shelves, assuring Nat she would find them most educationally interesting, and she did. Nat found that by touching the pieces, sometimes unimpressive by sight, exciting by feel. Her mind was piecing together a giant jig-saw puzzle and even the smallest details could send her gasping towards the next. After hours and hours of pouring over the treasures, she refused dinner and expressed her desire to retire early. Collapsing on the grand bed, she immediately fell into a deep sleep and dream time took on a whole new meaning. Visions of the past flowed into her mind as glorious, full colour, panoramic masterpieces of dreams.

The Nile was magnificent that time of year; the water was clean, clear, glistening and little sail boats dotted the scene. It was the fourteenth century B.C.E and all was well in the kingdom, the Hyksos had been removed, the Asiatic’s had been pushed back beyond the Euphrates and the Nubians were in the south. Yuya and Thuya had weathered the unsettling era of foreign intervention and were in semi- retirement because of their great age. Amhose the great had rid the kingdom of trouble makers and his heirs were ruling over a peaceful world. Hatshepsut was young, beautiful and was strutting her stuff far and wide; she ruled majestically. Natalie was seeing life through the eyes of this woman, who was truly in control, with her personal hero Senmut by her side. Her canal works had managed to connect the boats from the Nile and the Mediterranean to the Red sea and as far as India or Punt; this filled the kingdom full of new treasures from the four corners.

Music and art was high on the list of things to do, as Hattie and Senmut entertained at their Akhamin or Akhetaten home on the east bank, which was a traditional retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the temple city of Abydos. This family home, half way up the main trunk of the Nile, had served them well and had been the center for the worship of the fertility god Min since the time of Ben-Jah-Min. Today they were leaving with a fleet of ships, servants and provisions to travel up the offshoot of the Nile known as Joseph's canal to visit the home of Yuya and Thuya. Their plan was to consult with them about the new city of Tell el-Amarna that they were planning to build at the intersection of the canal with the Nile. They stopped briefly to survey the site and then continued up the offshoot, looking forward to once again seeing her grandparents; Thuya had presided as the head of Sobeck worship at Crocodilia and the maze at Hawara, Hattie was excited by the prospect of exploring the enormous old maze as they still kept crocodiles there. Senmut was keen to meet with old Yuseph to pour over ancient stories and new plans, he was sure he would get his approval for the new temple at Amarna and the one he was planning for the mountain site in the old home area near the Dead Sea. With the old viziers’ approval and the promise to dedicate it to his God, he was sure they would eventually get built.

Mummy of Thuya Mummy of Yuya

The journey was going well as the winds were favouring them; they had been keeping themselves busy by fishing from the moving boat, the fresh fish was keeping everybody happy and there was still a festive mood on the vessel. Music was being played continuously, wine was not rationed to anyone, Hattie and Sen. displayed their love for one another openly and all approved.

They had been presenting themselves to the people’s as Happy and Min two of the most loved god’s of the Egyptian pantheon, worshiping them ensured the prosperity of the Nile and it’s people. Josephs’ grain silos had ensured, even through the lean times, no one would go hungry although Thuya had always insisted it was her idea. As they were finishing the boating part of their journey, crossing the large lake and pulling up at the docks of Hawara, the whole community had turned out to meet them. The majesty of the day was apparent although gaiety seemed to be the main concern with tambourines, harps, flutes, drums and horns sounding out loud and everywhere there was dancing in the streets.

The ceremonial chariots had been dragged out and dusted off, after initial greetings the much loved travellers were loaded onto the pharonic train and transported with much fanfare up to the home of the beloved Queen mother and her Yuya. As they approached the porch, we get our first glimpse of ancient couple; there they stood in full Pharonic regalia surveying the oncoming hoard and the scene of the old necropolis that they had come from. The frail birdlike frame of Teti-Sheri, as she had become affectionately known, stood arms outstretched obviously anticipating the embrace of her beloved Hattie, who dismounted her chariot long before its final resting place and ran into the royal embrace.

Senmut waited until the procession came to a halt and then made his way up the stairs to the palatial porch greeting the seated Joseph, who also seemed most pleased to grasp the hands of the man whom he had been hearing so much about. He thought that his Hattie had chosen well, this Horus would make a fine Osiris even though he was a little short. His connection to the people of the Blue Nile and their neighbours across the red sea would ensure peace and prosperity for many good years to come, not only that but his exploits in Palestine, as a warrior, were legendary, even though he tended to play them down and give all the credit to the god of Joseph. This above all pleased Yuseph the most and put the stamp of his authority on ruling his own people as well as the co-regency of Egypt.

Senmut was introduced to the entire impressively dressed court one at a time while Hattie and Teti had disappeared into the palace. Everyone had wanted him to talk about the defeat of the Philistines and Naphtali that had fought with them in Canaan and how he had returned the land to the descendants of Jacob, but all he wanted to talk about was the temples he had planned for Amarna and the place of New Peace in the territory of Benjamin next to Judah. The plans for these temples he carried everywhere and spoke to anyone who would listen although it would be a generation before they would be built. In the meantime he would rule beside his Isis Queen singing song of praise to her and his God whilst playing on his seven stringed harps.

In the feasts that followed, the singing, the dancing, the honours that were bestowed, the promises that were made became the topics of conversation for many a years to come and the words to the songs that were sung were written in stone and placed between the paws of the Sphinx for eternity and for God.

Long and prosperous was the reign of Hatshepsut and her consort Senmut; as for their building projects, well they are still controversial to this day. Their descendants, Akhenaton and Nefertiti were accredited to building the temple at Amarna and reducing the worship of a plethora down to the first practice of Mono-theism in history. It was truly a beautiful era of art, music, writing in alphabetical script and religion practiced in an open and down to earth way. Everyone was happy, peaceful and productive in the new system, but trouble was brewing and the grumbling's of the old power brokers of the various cults that had been superseded, got together with the Generals that weren’t being funded and before long members of the royal families were being murdered, exterminated and run out of Egypt.

Moses, Miriam and Aaron became the leaders of the new Monotheism and looked towards the half built temple at Jerusalem as a center for their worship. They tried everything in their power

to move themselves, their artifacts and their peoples into the land of the new peace but it was not to be a reality until the time of Solomon. In the meantime they would practice their religion of one God as nomads in the tabernacle, the tent of presence. To see Miriam in front of the Arc of the Covenant was only ever going to be for the eyes of Aaron. Even Moses was relegated to the confines of the outer-sanctuary, but the people remained faithful and the Sabbath was celebrated regularly just like in the old days.

Moses did his best to form them into a nation; he divided them into twelve tribes, provided them with water and food, no mater how sparse, gave them rules to live by and formed an army for their defence. They lived like Nasserites in the land of the Ammonites, based at the great rock of Petra, observing their enemies Egypt in the southwest, Babylon in the northeast and in front a heavily fortified Canaan barring their access to the Mediterranean. Those who were military minded moved forward across the Jordan and fought under the command of Joshua son of Nun for the mountain kingdom of Judea. Those who were more inclined towards peace, pulled back into the deserts of Arabia to be led by the Queen of Peace, Queen of the south or as she became famously known as The Queen of Sheba.

PETER & PAUL: SATANS OR SAINTS?

How much do we really know about the founders of fundamental Christianity and the main contributors to the New Testament? Should we unquestionably accept their claims to be "ordained" as to speak to us through documents of uncertain origin, as the "infallible" word of GOD?

Firstly, they use alias's; Peter changed his name from Simon just after Jesus said to him "Get behind me SATAN, you are a ROCK in my path, your thoughts are those of man, not God."  (Mathew 16:23) and in (Mathew 26:34) before his LORD noted; when needed the most, PETER, SIMON, SATAN or whatever he wanted to call himself, would deny knowing Him three times in a row. What a sleaze-bag! Paul, on the other hand "real name"  Saul, sets himself up in direct opposition to Jesus (the descendant of David) in His quest to become King of the Jews. After  Saul and his best mates make sure "the Christ" is nailed to a cross "for your salvation", he then begins a ten year campaign to exterminate every follower of Jesus he could find. This man was a deluded, mass murdering, maniac who was eventually stopped by Jesus' Damascus faction and while he was rotting in jail, decided to write apologetics styled letters which eventually became the main ingredient for the doctrines of the fundamental Christian church of today.

Saul, dressed as a ruling class Sadducee, would have stood out like a sore thumb in a rural setting; Peter, on the other hand dressed as a fisherman, an ideal disguise if you were try to infiltrate a peasant based cult of the day. They are almost indistinguishable in that they always seem to be in the same place, at the same time, right up their deaths in Rome as elderly men.

Satan could not have done a better job in setting up a CHURCH to dominate and rule this world from. What a perfect place for an Evil Dark Lord to preside from, holding the key's that keep people locked into a subservient, judgemental, bigoted and biased, woman suppressing, gay bashing, misogynistic organization with more wealth and power than Caesar, Napoleon or even Hitler could have ever dreamed of.

My opinion ,for what it's worth, is that Jesus, God bless His soul, would have been ap-paul-ed at having his name associated with that style of establishment. If they had of tried to kill Him with a Guillotine or a Gas Chamber, would you walk around with a representation of that around your neck as a sign that you have been saved by it and the actions of a bunch of evil men?

In the summer of 1961 Stanley Milgram, a 27-year-old associate professor of psychology at Yale University, conducted a series of controversial experiments designed to test the limits of obedience. Volunteers in the experiment were told to give electric shocks to a person they could hear screaming in pain in the room next door. Seemingly ordinary people turned into torturers.

Much has been written about Milgram and his experiments. But there's a missing part to the story -- the voices of people who took part.

Gina Perry goes in search of those who participated in what's been described as the most widely cited and provocative set of experiments in social psychology.

TWO WRONGS DON'T MAKE A RIGHT.

Way back in the past we used to have a very sensible saying that kept the peace within family units and the wider community. When ever a child was chasing a sibling around with murder on their mind, because of some "wrong" that had been done to them, a wise parental figure would take him or her aside and explain; 'just because Johnny had been naughty it didn't  make it O.K to do whatever you want in retaliation'.

Now I think we could do with a resurgence of that type of thinking because it seems to me "responsible" adults have forgotten the basics of the premise. Just because a few of your army buddies get shot up whilst invading a foreign  country doesn't mean you have the right to blow away a whole village of women and children; as happened in Vietnam in the 70's. Just because some bunch of crazies drive a plane into a building, doesn't mean you have the right to round up everyone with a tea towel on their head and torture them. Just because somebody kills someone doesn't mean you have the right to kill them. THAT is the way of Anarchy, and inevitably leads to a free for all or all out war.

It's bad enough that peaceful people have to put up with "terrorists" but then we have to put up with the maniacs who want to "retaliate" when the sensible approach would be to investigate before we run off half cocked and commit atrocities in the name of demon-ocracy. On the home front, it's not bad enough that we have to put up with "Serial Maniac's" but we have to put up with the hoards of CSI "Experts" who want to solve the problem by "Psychically Divining" the villain. Before you know it we will have a whole generation of "Freelance Dexters" running our "Justice System" and "Judge Judys" packing heat.

If you are of the mind set who thinks that's a good idea, then I suggest you take a serious look at yourself and if you happen to get together with others who think the same then for goodness sake remind them of the good old saying that our sensible forbears used to quote when they found themselves in that type of situation;          -------'two wrongs don't make a right.'---------

    DO NOT FUND-A-MENTAL.

Don't you just love it when those who take it upon themselves to lord it over the rest of us, for no other reason than just because they can, insist on having their way irregardless of weather or not what they say makes any sense at all. It must of happened to you at sometime or another, take for instance a "teacher" making the class study John Howodd's version of Australian History. It doesn't matter how ridiculous it is, you are "encouraged" to take it seriously.

I'm sure that's how it was back in Nicaea 325 AD , when the ground work was laid for the mess we have today in the Fund-a-mental Christian Church. What a joke! Talk about arguing over how many angels can fit on the head of a pin. Who in their right mind could possibly think they could definitively decide on weather or not God was a "Father" before he had Jesus "His Son", the moment they "Big Banged" into existence, simultaneously or not?

Those men did not have the suitable education, qualifications, moral authority or neural capacity to set standards for today's society, irregardless of what the Pope or anyone else says. They were just under orders from the presiding dictator of the time to come up with a politically correct concoction to put an end to any of the then current regime's enemies. Constantine I was, by his own admission, not a religious man but he saw the "necessity" to have a body of men who could lord it over anyone who dared to challenge their ridiculous speculations.

Jesus himself, God bless his soul, would have been appalled by the concept that men He probably would have had no more respect for than the Pharisees and Sadducees of His time, could have had so much say in how His teaching would be presented to the masses. Yet we are coerced into "believing" they spoke as if He had of personally ordained them; what a crock! It's about time decent people everywhere put their foot down, not against sensible spiritual teachings but the incessant raving's of the presiding hierarchy that would have us believing "crap" rather than following sensible teachings.

Excerpts from 'Breastplate of Narmer' CHAPTER FOUR.

Buzz looked at Nat and mouthed the same words and with a click of his heels they marched off , down the medieval hallway to enter a grand dining room.

Sir Hamish sat at the near end of a long table, laden with all the niceties of a formal dinner. He stood to greet their arrival and in his Scottish tuxedo complete with kilt and ceremonial sporran, looked all the part of a magisterial lord. His voice boomed a Scottish welcome and he praised the appearance of his guests, he gestured widely seeking their approval of the surrounds which consisted of magnificent paintings, glorious statues, impressive suits of armor and endless ornaments that looked as if they had come as gifts from dignitaries around the world. The food had already made its way to the table and Gabriel had noted a lack of staff or musicians to provide the gastronomic masterpiece and music which was permeating his senses. Natalie commented to this fact and Sir Hamish belly laughed ensuring them that soon they would be audienced to her majesty and all their questions would be sated as well as their appetites. They began eating and before they had finished a small hooded figure unobtrusively entered the other end of the room and as she seated herself, they noticed the radiant quality of the magenta cape and its occupant.

Sir Hamish leapt to his feet, motioned to them to remain seated and rushed to assist the new arrival at the head of the table. They spoke quietly together for a few moments and then he returned to their end of the table to brief them with the following instructions.

“She would like to speak to you first Natalie.”

Natalie pushed aside her crockery, wiped her mouth daintily with the provided napkin, excused herself and slowly made her way towards the head of the table and the mysterious figure. Buzz looked on in awe at the scene that was unfolding before his very eyes but Sir Hamish returned to the remains of his desert, chuckling as he did so.

Gabriel continued to sit quietly transfixed with the sight of Nat in communion with this enigmatic figure of whom he presumed, with all the affirmation of his gut feelings, was the real life connection to the lady of his dreams and visions. He wasn’t guessing at what they were speaking about, his mind, for a change, was strangely at peace. If he could have verbalized what he was thinking at the time, he would have likened it to the Buddhist teachings of ‘no mind’. However his feelings were peaking at a level unprecedented in his recent memory, love entered the moment, not the love a man has for a woman, nor the love a parent has for a child, not even the love that empowers a person to do great things for their fellow man but a love that seemed to combine all those mentioned and much, much more.Euphoria engulfed him although he remained clear headed and relatively unmoved by the flood of emotion that had engulfed him. He was fully prepared to embrace the return of Natalie to his side after what was an indeterminable amount of time, he didn’t ask her what was said, he didn’t even notice that Sir Hamish had removed himself from the table, he just absorbed what it was that she had to say to him.

“She said she had reached a point in the great cosmic game of conscience were the walls of reality had pressed in to such an extent that the mind resembled a black hole. No externalizing was now possible, only the long journey of reduction lay ahead for her, compaction of all that was into a single point. The most comprehensive search of outward reasoning in the known was reduced to this; the kingdom of God is within. Jesus knew this, taught this, pointed the way but she had continued on the search regardless. Thousands of years of searching every possibility led to the ultimate realization that there is no point in it all more important than the center of ones being. It’s not that there’s no point in the search worth coming to, it’s just that when you have exhausted all, there’s only one way home. Through the worm hole of conscience we return to our creator for reassignment, taking all our experiential knowledge as our only prize. This is wisdoms gift, the peace of mind that no other possibility exists, that we all enter this world with a short simple job to do or a long complicated one or something in between. This applies to a one celled amoeba or an angle of light. When the life force is spent the conscience goes on in a never ending cycle of existence all working for God. Whether our time here is well spent or wasted is the product of our choices, whether we return here as an amoeba or an angle is Gods will.   We can go through life blissfully ignorant of this fact or if you can handle it, painfully aware it’s up to you. Enlightenment is the realization of the enormity of the task before us. Being bourn again is the ability to go about it in an enthusiastic way, putting aside destructive ways and operating as a child of the creator.”

She finished quoting her mentor and said directly to Buzz,” Now it’s your turn.”

                                                                                        ------------------------------------

Was that a dream?” asked the awakening Nat

“No I don’t think so,” he said pointing to the gravy stain on his tuxedo.

“I feel like a different person this morning somehow older and wiser.”

“That’s understandable; it was certainly an enlightening evening.”

“I don’t remember much about it; how did we get back to our room?” questioned Nat

“I think we meandered back quite late.”

“Do you think we were drugged again?”

“I’m not sure but I feel good to good to be waking from a drugged stupor, how do you feel and what do you remember?” he asked as he moved away from her and over to the side board with the tea and coffee making utensils.

She propend herself up with some pillows and pulled a shawl over her naked shoulders and with a quizzical look on her face she began to explain,” Strangely enough, I remember the story of Sarah, Abrahams Sarah and their journey to Egypt. She was being presented to Pharaoh and he was very impressed with her and her stories. He positioned her above all other women in his court at a time when the entire main pyramid complexes seemed to be in place and Egypt was running at its peak. The majesty of the place was awesome as it was the time of the ‘Second Kingdom’, which put an end to the troubled “first intermediate Period’ and established the worship of Osiris as a permanent cult. The temples at Karnack and Abydos were being built and the ‘Labyrinth at Harawa’ was becoming the center of rule. Sarah fitted right in, becoming a spearhead of religion, culture and a master of the maze which was a huge temple complex, consisting of hundreds of chambers all dedicated to the god Sobeck.

This was a crocodile deity that was attributed to always returning to collect its rightful due. At the center of the complex, existed a chamber carved out of a single massive block of quartzite and on special occasions Sarah would don her magnificent breastplate and make her way into that chamber. Here she was at her most impressive and considered at one with God, eventually she became known as Sobeckneferu.”

“Wow, take a break. I need a moment to take all that in, what you have related is quite a revelation that I think can be substantiated,”

“But there’s so much more,” she said

“And I really want to hear it but drink this tea first.”

She took the tea, sipped as requested and almost immediately returned to the coalface by asking, “Is what I was saying feasible, I mean does it make sense and fit with what you know about Egyptian history?”

“Not only that but I believe it fits with what we know about Sarah from the Hebrew Scriptures.”

“How could I know these things when I have never studied them?”

“Maybe she told you last night,” answered Buzz

“No, I remember what she told me now and it wasn’t about history, it was more like philosophy.”

    “Well maybe you dreamed it.”

“No, I remembered it, what I was telling you were from memory, from Sarah’s memory.” She stated.

“Tell me more of what you remember then.”

“I remember making many trips back into Cana and staying with Abraham, Laban and a Melchezdek priest named Abimilech, but always returning to Egypt. Then there was the destruction of Sodom and Lot with his daughters but most amazingly I remember as Rebecca,”

    “What!” exclaimed Buzz?

“I remember as Rebecca meeting Isaac, I was riding on my camel. He took me as his bride back to the tent of Sarah and told me of her death. I thought of him as a child but I told him how much I loved him and that I would never leave him. I never told him about my sorties into Egypt, or my plan to incorporate our family into the ruling class.”

     “Now you’re scarring me,”

     “I’m scarring myself.” countered Nat

“Do you remember as Rachael?” asked Buzz

“Yes and I remember scarring the hell out of  Joseph as  Potiphers wife when he thought I was making a pass at him and when I met his brother Benjamin I was dressed as an Isis queen and he ran a mile before we could catch up with him.”

“So you would have been responsible for Joseph rising to the highest office in the land?”

“Yes and as Yuya and Thuya, worshipers of Yahweh, presiding over a new dynasty, a new peoples and a time of stability in the land of two kingdoms. Mereneith had returned and with her chosen Osiris, ruled for a very long time.”

“We need a break,” cut in Buzz, “I’m having a shower and changing out of this tux. I think we should find out what’s going on around here and who’s in charge.”

                                                                                       --------------------------------------------

“Superb isn’t it?” quipped Laurence, as he strode off again, this time parallel to the castle walls, “This is my daily walk, it does wonders for the constitution. I highly recommend it if you’re going to stay here for any length of time.”

“Why would I want to do that?” Asked Buzz

“Well, Dr. Izzard, there in lays the rub. Because of your unique skills and your association with Ms. McHale’s quest, you have made yourself a target for those who do not have your best interests at heart.”

“And who would they be, and what distinguishes them from you?” further quizzed Buzz

“They,” intoned Laurence “would be a powerful junta of secret government officials whose tentacles reach into people’s lives all over this planet of ours; ruthless army intent on control, dogmatically going about it, systematically exterminating any opposition.”

“We,” he continued “would be a counter-balancing force who conscientiously objects to that level of control, a kind of opposition party. If you like to think of them as big brother, we are the rebellious little brother, allowed to exist because of family considerations. We can negotiate on your behalf and you with your talents can assist us towards that end.”

“What if I don’t want to, what if I just want to go back to my old life and forget any of this ever happened?” he pleaded

“Sorry, your life as you knew it is over. If you don’t accept our offer of protection the only future I foresee for you is down a very dark hole being force-fed and milked on a regular basis, I’m sure you don’t want that. Anyway I have a feeling about you that you are going to fit right in around here, you’ve been favored and empowered to achieve much, isn’t that what you’ve been doing all that study for, isn’t that what you want?”

“I suppose so, what if I wanted my computer, could you get it?”

“It’s already here; Sir Hamish had the forethought that you might need it.”

“What if I said to you that I wanted to personally interview a certain Fulham road antiquities dealer?”

“I would say that I have a chauffeured Bentley in that garage over there awaiting your instructions. You can plug your computer into the modem and access a direct secured line back to me if you need any assistance or information.”

Natalie waved goodbye as Gabriel’s limo sped down the long driveway that exited the estate. She had agreed to his reckless escapade and also that her presence would complicate and compromise his plan. For now, she was looking forward to continuing her conversation with Dora who had been explaining similar things to her as Laurie had been explaining to Buzz. She had said how she had become involved in the intrigue Natalie was now embroiled in.

It had begun for her when she was a young woman in pre-world war two London. Her studies had qualified her as a filing clerk at the Egyptian department of the British museum under Sir Wallace Budge, keeper of antiquities. She specialized in the findings of Flinders Petrie and Margaret Murray, who had become world leaders in understanding the big picture of Egyptian Beliefs. Since the excavations of the Osirian at Umm-el-Qu’ab had unearthed the tombs of the first and second dynasty Pharaohs, they had become experts in translating from ‘the book of the dead’ and that which was carved in stone upon the walls and Stella’s of the complexes of Abydos. After becoming fascinated with their findings, she packed herself of to Egypt where she met the Lady of the castle of whom she still serves.

When Nat found Dora again she was doing laundry in the area of the castle that was set aside for that purpose and in order to continue their conversation she said to her, “Please tell me more of your initial encounter with the Lady. When was it exactly and what did she look like then?”

Dora finished hanging up some items she was fiddling whilst remaining quiet; she picked up a darning needle and an item to use it on, seated herself comfortably and began.

“She was beautiful then, probably at her best and her countenance radiated. She drew people towards her, not like a leader sprouting doctrine or rhetoric but like a mother hen concerned with the wellbeing and the individual needs of her chicks. I became one of those chicks happily pecking around her foot, which was an amazingly accurate description of what we were then, mainly trainee archeologists picking through the remains of what was once her beautiful kingdom, Upper Egypt. We gladly brought our best finds to her and she would instinctively know what it was and what we should do with it. Some things were not meant for this world and we would rebury them, usually in a safer spot; the Breastplate and the Ark of the Covenants really came under this category.”

“Whoa!” Nat cut in and stopped Dora in her tracks. “Did you see those things personally?” she asked

“I did see Oma in her breastplate and she spoke often about the Ark, but I never saw it.” Answered Dora

“Tell me about the breastplate, what did it look like?”

“It was a beautifully crafted, well rounded, highly refined golden bodice in two parts, front and back. Each side had twelve different colored semi transparent stones and when worn, if you drew a line through each matching color you would have twelve lines going straight through the heart.”

“That’s what I saw, that’s what my father showed me.” Said Nat

“We know, he contacted us telling what he had and what he wanted to do. We advised him to come straight to us but he must have wanted to show you first.”

“He mentioned the Narmer Palette and how this find would prove some kind of fraud. Do you know anything about that?”

“You are very direct and to the point Natalie. The controversy you allude to has perplexed certain scholars since it was unearthed in 1898 at Hierakonpolis. Those at the British museum, who were aware of it and its importance, surmised it was an artistic interpretation of a long lost symbol of authority but there were those that fervently disagreed. An actual breastplate was worn by the unified kingdom leader of the first dynasty named Narmer by some, Menes by others and because of the work of Champollion and Thomas Young on the translation of the text unearthed by Amelineau and the Flinders Petrie/ Margaret Murray work in 1903, we were able to put together a theory of the most likely explanation of the controversy.

The findings from the tomb of Mereneith, ‘beloved of god’ at Umm-el-Qu’ab, ‘mother of pots’ indicated that She had ruled the Old Kingdom and worn a bejeweled breastplate and the warlike interlopers of the Intermediate Kingdom, when overthrowing her, had demanded that She hand over the symbol of her authority to rule. It was then that a ‘fake’ breast plate was made, emblazoned with hieroglyphics depicting the warlike nature of its intended recipient and Mereneith removed herself to a western kingdom with the ‘original’.

“That fairly well sum up what I have been learning about all this so far, but for now I am seeing her as Sarah from the bible, waltzing back into Egypt as a matriarchal figure, central to the beliefs of Christians, Muslims and Jews. The ramifications of this aspect of our history are awesome, so how come we haven’t been taught these things in school?” questioned Nat

“There have always been and are now those who would oppose her, those that would rule without authority, who would seize power with a war machine. They have no room in their hearts, nor in their minds for a Mereneith, a real Jesus or even a Gandhi. Their symbol for authority to rule is an abomination of desolation or a nuclear bomb if you like.”

“How can I retrieve this breastplate and make a difference, I mean why me? What do I have to do?” she asked

“Let others worry about these things, you my dear could busy yourself with the pursuit of higher ideals that would qualify you to wear such an item.”

With that Dorothy packed up her darning and said, “I have to prepare lunch, would you like to join me?”

“Yes I would, but shouldn’t I seek out the Lady of the castle?”

“Precisely, my dear girl, precisely as for now come with me, you will enjoy it.”
